Course Description

Introduction If you are interested in a career in the Health or Social Care sectors, such as Nursing, then this course is ideal for you. This course develops the specialist work-related focus of the BTEC Level 2 First Diploma in Health & Social Care. It will equip you with an in-depth knowledge and experience of working in the Health and Social Care sector and help prepare those who wish to enter a particular specialist area of work. Study will combine theoretical subjects, assignment work and practical sessions with substantial work experience, over the two years of study, allowing you to put into practice what you have learned. To ensure that you achieve the very best you can, you will be given guidance, support and mentoring. You will be encouraged to apply the knowledge you have gained, develop your understanding and practice these skills in the Health and Social Care sector.

Assessment Methods
