Objectives By the end of the course participants will be able to: 1. State the reasons for an appraisal and describe how the company system will work. 2. Describe the company system and offer relevant examples of acceptable behaviour and performance. 3. Prepare effectively for an appraisal with their individuals at work. 4. Perform an appraisal which will generate a two-way discussion and an effective conclusion with agreed actions. 5. Create a positive approach to the appraisal which creates a motivated member of staff. 6. Develop appropriate methods of coping with difficult people and situations. 7.
