Course Description

What you will study You will study engine diagnostice and rectification, vehicle chassis systems diagnosis and rectification, vehicle auxiliary systems diagnosis and rectification, and vehicle inspection procedures. It is recommended that candidates undertake Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications, as employers are keen to recruit people with good maths and English skills. How you will learn The course will be delivered by a mixture of classroom work and in-Industry assessment. An essential part of the course is the work placement since it is important that the students are able to relate the knowledge gained in the classroom to their own personal industrial experience. How you will be assessed By continuous assessment in Industry and by written and oral testing in College. Attendance The programme takes one year to complete, attending College one day per week from employed status.
