The Royal School of Needlework is an exciting forward-looking charity dedicated to teaching, practising and promoting the art of hand embroidery in the 21st century.We run courses in hand embroideryfor all levels from beginner to degree programmes in all techniques.We offer an Embroidery Studiowhere wework on both the conservation and restoration of historical textiles as well as creating new commissions. Recent clients include:- Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, Salisbury Cathedral;Chapel Royal St James's Palace;English Heritage;German artist, Gerhard Richterand many churches, synagogues and individuals.As a charity, werely on the support of many people and organisations, including our Friends and Special Supporters, city livery companies, charitable trusts and others. We receive no government funding
