Royal Engineers Continuous Personal Development (RE CPD)RE CPD is the operating arm of REVETT.
The Royal Engineers Vocational Education & Training Trust (REVETT) was established as a Charity in 1997. The Objects (purposes) of the Trust are “to promote the efficiency of the Army and particularly the military efficiency of the Royal Engineers by promoting and supporting the involvement of its personnel in nationally recognized vocational education and training schemes”. The Chairman of the Trustees is the Regimental Colonel Royal Engineers, and other Trustees comprise serving or retired Royal Engineers Officers and one civilian, usually an outside academic.
The aim of the Trust is to promote the efficiency of the Army and in particular the Royal Engineers by advancing the education and competency of its personnel both Regular and Reserve, primarily, but not exclusively, through involvement in nationally recognised vocational educational and training schemes.
