The LSA offers courses for professional development (fee paying courses), aimed at both local and international students wishing to acquire new skills or to develop their existing skills and enable them to continue on to further or higher education.Our second area of tuition is aimed at local or resident students, to provide vocational and employability skills as a route into employment or further education (public funded courses).Both programmes offer accredited qualifications in a wide range of courses and levels, from taster courses to higher professional qualifications.We also provide customised training for small businesses and private individuals who may not qualify for our subsidised provision and actively work in partnership with local schools for the delivery of the ICT Specialist Diploma programme.We have been very successful in delivering employment, vocational and skills training on behalf of the following funders: European Social Fund, Local Authority, Skills Funding Agency and Young People's Learning Agency.
